Finally, we have a much-awaited episode on something we all love and talk about – FOOD! And who better to take us on a culinary spin than the very popular TV chef and food writer, Manju Malhi. Manju was one of the first few to experiment with Brit-Indi or Anglo-Indian cuisine back in the late 90’s and is something that most new age restaurants now boast about. Manju has worked extensively and appeared on several UK-based food programmes including BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and others on ITV and Sky. She also has under her belt, a food series with well-known Indian broadcaster NDTV. In this rendezvous, we talk about the evolution and revolution of the UK South Asian food scene and the compelling culinary preferences of fellow foodies back home. We also talk about her latest ‘Easy Indian Cookbook’- well suffice to say, the lady’s got her fingers in many curries! www.manjumalhi.com
