There are only around 700 of these beasts in the wild, but as of this week we now have two more, who’ll stay with their mothers for up to 5 years, and could live as long as 50. Elderly care: Holland gets it right If you’re a conscientious student living in Holland, especially if you’re strapped for cash, you might consider becoming a good neighbour to an elderly person. The scheme being piloted in Deventer allows students to live rent-free in small flats in a nursing home.
