Zoe George returns to launch a re-vamped show for fans of women’s sport in New Zealand - it’s all about Fair Play which covers the news as well as the issues around women’s sport. Joining her again as guest co-presenter is White Ferns player Sophie Devine. Their guests are Sarah Beaman, the woman behind the study into women’s cricket for NZC and they ask what’s been done as a result of the study and whether women are any closer to being treated equally. White Ferns Coach Haidee Tiffen chats about the team’s upcoming tour to the UAE to face Pakistan and shares her thoughts on the state of the women’s game and the impact of this year’s World Cup. And Dr. Sarah Beable stops by to talk about menstruation and contraception - what’s best for our bodies as an athlete and can periods actually help performance? Fair Play is a co-production of Radio New Zealand and WiSP Sports. Executive Producer: Chris Stafford, Producer: Laura Keown.
