Tanner and Jack travel all the way to Germany, the birthplace of modern Lutheranism, to discuss the thinly veiled religious text that is book five of The Baby-sitter’s Club, “Dawn and the Impossible Three.” Tanner has a few too many helles biers and ends up role playing as an adult escort.
